Technical Training

During Technical Training sessions, players will work closely with USSF Licensed Coaches. Players will be taught proper dribbling, passing and shooting techniques to better enhance their game.

• SPRING & FALL: 8 week session
  • This program is available to all players: U6-U12
  • This program is a great complement to the Lightning Development Academy training schedule and to players that participate in our recreational league .
  • This session will mix up the ages and is be designed to be a fun way to develop skills and get more touches on the ball.
• WINTER: 2 different 6 week sessions
  • This program is available to all players: U11-U14
  • Practices held on Sundays
  • This program is also a great complement to the Lightning Development Academy training schedule.
  • Cap of 32 players per session
• Maximizes the use of Meulensteen Curriculum, while cultivating confident and creative thinkers on the field.
• Ball Size: Size 3 (U6 - U9) Size 4 (U10-U12)
